Chronic rhinosinusitis: patient resources

Help your patients beat chronic rhinosinusitis!

Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia has been supporting patients with management of their chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) for many years. We have developed a chronic rhinosinusitis email education series, packed full of useful information and resources, which has been accessed by hundreds of people to improve management of their condition.

We are asking health care professionals to help us spread the word and encourage patients to join the email education series.

We know that this condition has a negative impact on patient’s quality of life.

Patients tell us that accurate, easy to understand information received directly to their inbox is what would help them.

What do patients receive?

Patients will receive a series of emails over 2 weeks.

The first email will help people to understand what their sinuses are and how they work, what CRS is and how to manage it, plus answer commonly asked questions. The following emails include information on the difference between CRS and allergic rhinitis, practical ways to manage CRS, access to our CRS webinar, and how to reduce exposure to allergens.

Patients can call our Allergy Educators (trained health professionals) on the FREE National Allergy Helpline  1300 728 000 or contact us through the website for more information and support. We encourage patients to keep in touch with their GP, Nurse Practitioner and Pharmacist as needed.

Please email if you wish to see the email education series your patients would receive – [email protected]
