Allergy Alert - a message from Cadbury - 22 March 2019
Different allergens within Cadbury Crème Egg range
Cadbury would like to advise consumers of different allergens within its Cadbury Creme Egg range. Some of the Cadbury Creme Egg range contain egg/wheat/soy while others within the same range do not. The ingredients are clearly labelled in the ingredient list, however, please see details of the different allergens across the range below. For more information on allergens across our broader Easter product range you can visit our website cadbury.com.au
To help alert consumers of the different allergens within the Creme Egg range this year, Cadbury has produced a sticker listing allergens for its Creme Egg point-of-sale display towers, and these should be seen in store however, you still need to read the ingredient list of all products purchased as products can be moved around the store.
The company has also revised the packaging artwork highlighting the differences in allergens, and this will be on pack in time for Easter 2020.
Cadbury always encourages consumers to read labels carefully every time you purchase the product. Do not presume a product is safe because you have eaten it before - always check ingredients. If you would like more information on the Cadbury Creme Egg range, please call the consumer contact centre on 1800 033 275.
