Allergen Update | Peanut Alert: 7-Eleven Krispy Kreme doughnuts

Krispy Kreme

7-Eleven Australia have asked Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia to provide the following update in regard to a change to Krispy Kreme cabinets, that affects anyone who may be sensitive or allergic to Peanuts.

A new Krispy Kreme Doughnut range with REESE’S® will be available in 7-Eleven stores from 4th October 2022 until 6th November 2022 inclusive. Although measures have been put in place to reduce the risk of cross contamination, the overall risk of accidental cross contamination is still present within these self-serve cabinets.

Therefore 7-Eleven would like to advise that the introduction of the doughnuts with Reese’s® into the Krispy Kreme cabinet has brought about a significant change to the current allergen status. Doughnuts found in Krispy Kreme cabinets within 7-Eleven stores now contain or may contain GLUTEN, EGG, MILK, SOY, HAZELNUT, PEANUT, SULPHITES and LUPIN.

Allergen information displayed on Krispy Kreme cabinets will be updated and available to reflect the significant allergen change inside the cabinet and raise awareness to sensitive customers.
