Food allergy cures – are we ready for prime time? The Centre for Food & Allergy Research (CFAR) invites researchers, clinicians and the public to a Round Table Discussion on 11 May, facilitated by Dr Norman Swan. Come join the discussion as we explore the issues of efficacy, safety and accessibility for novel food allergy treatments such as oral immunotherapy (OIT).
We will spend the morning reviewing the current evidence base for food allergy cures, including trials in progress, guidelines (or progress towards) and current practice in the US, UK, and Australia. The afternoon will feature panel discussions amongst researchers, clinicians and parents of children with food allergies, with opportunities for questions and comments from the audience.
