Australian Hives Study: closing soon

CCDR’s Personal Experience Expectations and Knowledge (PEEK) study to understand the experience of people with allergic or spontaneous hives, including Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, is well underway.

CCDR wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has already registered and let the community know the study registration will close at the end of November 2024.

The last question asked in the study’s telephone interview is “If you were standing in front of the health minister, what would your message be?” 

Here is what some participants have said:

“I would say that we need to take the hurdles away and give people thorough information, informed decisions in a holistic approach”.

“Probably that more research is needed to identify underlying conditions, therefore best treatment options…if we can identify why this is happening, then we can make treatment plans that are appropriate”.
