Cruising with an allergy to all nuts, egg and dairy
We just got back from a 10 days Christmas cruise with Royal Caribbean.
I can honestly say the staff on RCC, Ovation of the Seas went above and beyond when catering for our son. It was like having his own personal Chef (all his meals were prepared for him, anything he wanted). The Chefs and staff had a very good understanding about the risks and seriousness of Anaphylaxis.
The [A&AA] “Chef card” was very much appreciated by the Chefs and Head Waiters. They also said, they have a “Non Verbal Ordering System”, which reassured us even more. We were so impressed, we are looking at booking our next cruise, the most relaxing way to travel with food allergies.
