Eating Out with Food Allergies brochure
With careful planning, there is no reason you can’t enjoy eating out with friends and family.
If you have a food allergy then you know that dining out is a risk as there are no ingredient lists readily available and many food service workers have potentially limited knowledge of food preparation for those with a life–threatening food allergy. Dishes may have hidden ingredients and there is a risk of cross-contamination during the preparation. You need to be extra careful and ask a lot of questions. This brochure will help guide you to making informed decisions when eating out.
