- Egg Removal
- Gluten add in ‘May be present…’ statement of some products
Bulla Dairy Foods have asked us to communicate the removal of egg in all of their Murray Street Ice Cream Sticks & 1L tubs Range. They have also added a ‘May be present’ GLUTEN statement in some of their products which are available in grocery stores throughout Australia.
As of March 2024, Bulla will begin producing Murray Street Ice Cream Sticks & 1L Tubs without egg.
This positive change allows more consumers to enjoy Murray Street products and has been driven by supply challenges of free-range egg yolk. Customers can be assured Bulla’s formulation, made with fresh milk and cream, and product quality remains unchanged.
Please note the below products may contain egg due to ingredients such as colours. These have been listed below:
- Bulla Murray St Passionfruit Panna Cotta Sticks 4pk
- Bulla Murray St Lemon Meringue Tart Sticks 4pk
Please also refer to the below table for summary of changes in allergen statements across the product range, which also includes gluten being added to the ‘may be present’ statement on some products.
Bulla highly recommends consumers double check packaging labels for the most accurate information. Should customers have any queries, please contact Bulla Dairy Foods via https://www.bulla.com.au/contact/ or call the Customer Service team on 1800 001 332.
Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia reminder: ALWAYS ask about ingredient content of food without a label and read label information on packaged foods EVERY time you purchase food or plan to eat (even if you have eaten the same product before).
This communication is sponsored by Bulla Dairy Foods.
