Wheat added to the Precautionary Allergen Labelling (PAL) statement for Mars, Snickers and Milky Way products
At Mars Snacking, we’re committed to providing clear and accurate allergen information to our consumers. Which is why we’re sharing with members of Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia that we have an important change to our ‘May Contain’ allergen statement for our Australian-made Mars, Snickers, and Milky Way chocolate bar products.
Due to new products containing wheat being introduced to our Ballarat factory, we are updating our allergen labelling to include wheat in the ‘May Contain’ statement for these products.
Products and relevant new labelling has been phased into the market from April 27th, 2026, and will continue through to March 1st, 2027. We encourage all consumers with known allergies to check the product label before consumption.
