Nestlé Australia – MILO® Snack Bars – Allergens added to the Precautionary Allergen Labelling (PAL) statement
Nestlé has asked us to communicate that the PAL statement status of the MILO® Snack Bars is changing. This applies to the MILO® Snack Bars Original and MILO® Snack Bars Dipped, across all product sizes.
Nestlé are bringing this to your attention as the “May contain” PAL statement on these products has been updated to include NEW cross contamination allergens.
The MILO® Snack Bars will now carry the below allergen summary statement and PAL statement:
Contains Gluten, Wheat, Milk, Soy.
May contain Oat, Rye, Tree Nuts, Peanut, Sesame.
Previously, the statements were:
Contains Gluten, Wheat, Milk, Soy.
May contain Tree Nuts.
The updated allergen status is due to a change in the manufacturing location of these products.

To help consumers identify this change, an allergen alert flash has been added to the front of the pack on these products.
The transition will take place over the coming months, so please be aware that some products on shelves may display different allergen statements. Nestlé advises consumers with food allergies to carefully check the allergen and ingredient information on each product at the time of purchase and before eating to make sure it is suitable for their needs.
