Allergen update: Nestlé Australia – NESQUIK® Cereal – Soy

Nestlé has asked us to communicate that the allergen status of the NESQUIK® Cereal is changing. This applies to the 600g and the new 310g pack sizes.

Nestlé are bringing this to your attention as the MAY CONTAIN allergen statement has been updated on this product to include the NEW cross contamination allergen, SOY.

Production of NESQUIK® Cereal has recently moved to Australia and, from the end of January 2025, NESQUIK® Cereal will carry the allergen statements:

Contains Gluten, Wheat.

May contain Oats, Barley, Rye, Soy, Milk.

Look out for the alert on the front of pack that directs consumers to check the allergen statements on pack.

During the transition period, some previously manufactured product that does not have cross contamination with soy and therefore does not have the updated “may contain” allergen labelling may still be available on shelves. Nestlé advises consumers with food allergies to read the allergen and ingredient information on each product every time you buy to make sure it is suitable.

Nestlé welcomes feedback from customers. Should you have any further questions about this product, please contact the friendly Nestlé Consumer Engagement Services team.

Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia reminder:  ALWAYS read label information on every packaged food (even if you buy more than one of the same packaged food) EVERY time you purchase food or plan to eat (even if you have eaten the same product before).
