New ‘May Contain’ statement for NESTLE® BAKERS’ CHOICE Baking Cocoa
Nestlé has asked us to communicate that the allergen status of NESTLE® BAKERS’ CHOICE Baking Cocoa is changing.
NESTLE® BAKERS’ CHOICE Baking Cocoa will now carry this allergen statement to reflect a new cross-contamination allergen:
May contain Wheat, Gluten.
Previously, this product did not carry a ‘may contain’ statement. The updated allergen status is due to a change in the manufacturing facility where the product is made.
To help consumers identify this change, an allergen alert flash – Check Allergens – has been added to the front of the pack.
The transition will take place in August, and both the current and new packaging may be available during the transition period.

Nestlé welcomes feedback from customers. Should you have any further questions about these products, please contact the friendly Nestlé Consumer Engagement Services team or phone for further enquiries: 1800 025 361.
Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia reminder: Always read the label on every packaged food, every time you buy it and before you eat it, even if you buy more than one pack of the same product or have eaten it before.
