Soy added to Don Smallgoods and KRC Salami range
Don smallgoods have asked us to communicate an important announcement for people who buy Don and KRC Salami who may be allergic to soy. The allergen status of the Don and KRC Salami range has been updated to reflect a change from ‘May contain soy’ to ‘Contains soy’. These packs now include the statement “Contains Soy”.
The first Don and KRC Salami products to show the new allergen labelling will be on shelf from early June. There may be some cross-over in which the Don and KRC Salami range will have both “May contain soy” and “ Contains soy” labelling.
Don smallgoods highly recommends consumers double check the packaging label of every Don and KRC Salami product purchased for the most accurate information.
Should you have any queries, please contact the Don Smallgoods Consumer Inquiry Centre online via Contact Us/FAQs – Don (isdonisgood.com.au) or call 1800 634 783 (Aus.) 9am – 5pm AEST, Monday – Friday.
Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia reminder: ALWAYS ask about ingredient content of food without a label and read label information on every packaged food(even if you buy more than one of the same packaged food) EVERY time you purchase food or plan to eat (even if you have eaten the same product before).
